Radon can impact pets for many reasons. Some pets spend most of their lives indoors. As a result, their respiratory health is dependent on indoor air quality. Our pets also have smaller lungs and they can be damaged more easily than their human best friends.

In addition, Pennsylvanians are at a higher risk. Pennsylvania has one of the most serious radon problems in the United States. Approx. 40% of Pennsylvania homes have radon levels above the EPA’s action guideline. (source)
